Tatoosh Group

Serving the Pierce County Community and Beyond

The Tatoosh Group is a part of the Cascade Chapter (Western and Central Washington) of the Sierra Club and represents close to 1900 members living in Pierce County. Our group is involved in environmental issues that affect not only our local area but also the state, nation, and the planet as a whole.

The Tatoosh Group sponsors community presentations on environmental topics. We are active in local, state, and national elections. Our Ivy League does ongoing work to remove invasive plant species from local parks. You can find contact information for Tatoosh Group leaders and active members on this website and read about group activities in the newsletter, the Rainier Review.

Contact Janet Stevens, Chair of our Membership Committee, to find out how to become involved in our group activities (j.steph@comcast.net or 253-305-0067).
