More information
Read the bill and see who sponsored it. Check out www.cleancarswashington.org Clean Car Standards: Cleaner Air, Consumer Savings With these standards, all new cars sold in Washington after 2009 will emit less toxic air pollution, while saving money on fuel costs and starting to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Technology exists for cleaner vehicles from subcompacts to SUV's and large pickups. It's time to tell automakers to stop stalling and do what's right. Lets remember that the auto industry has been infamous for stating the impossibility of meeting a variety of standards for years - from seatbelts to airbags to improved emissions standards. Support Clean Cars - and we'll all breathe easier!
