Washington State Environmental Legislative Priorities 2006

The 2006 session is now underway! It's a short session, just 60 days, so things are moving briskly. Please take a look at some of the legislation we're working on. If you're interested in learning more, or getting more involved, please contact Peter Orth, our Legislative Committee Chair, at portcpa@comcast.net.

Note to Legislators: Please know that this is not an exhaustive list of all the bills we've taken positions on. For purposes of our annual report card, please also review the environmental community "hot lists" sent directly to you each week; and should you have any questions about the Sierra Club position on bills or amendments, please consult Craig Engelking at 360-561-7701.
