Craig Pridemore (D),
currently serving his second term as a Clark County Commissioner, is a Sierra
Club member -- this tells us something important about his values.
He’s been active in
environmental issues since his college days. The clean up of Hanford has always
been a priority. As a County Commissioner, Craig has been a true environmental
hero, especially fighting for smart growth in one of the fastest growing areas
of the country. His motto is “jobs and the environment, not jobs or
the environment.”
Craig has displayed a deep understanding
of important issues ranging from protecting rivers to protecting old growth
forests to promoting balanced transportation solutions. And, it’s clear from
his performance as a Clark County Commissioner that we’d be sending a real to
environmental leader to Olympia. He will be a great addition to the State
Senate.
